NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER CLASSES There are no classes: November 11, 2008 - Monday November 26th – 29th Thanksgiving Break
Our first Observation Week will be the first week of November classes! The students are very excited to share with you what they have learned! Please remember to limit the number of siblings accompanying you. If you must bring siblings along – they must sit quietly as they can become a distraction for the young dancers.
There are also observation windows to view the class from if you need to take a younger sibling out of the classroom area. We really appreciate your cooperation with this – we love to have parents in to observe the classes – however it is important that you observe quietly.
TUITION Tuition is due the first week of each month. Maureen is available in the waiting area of the second floor studio to take tuition payments. If you happen to miss her – please deposit tuition payments in the metal box located on the wall in the 3rd floor studio!
Please Remember - During the first four months of dance, a $15.00 deposit PER CLASS is required towards your child’s costumes. (i.e. if your child takes 2 classes = $30.00)
PICTURE DAY The date for pictures has been scheduled for Wednesday March 25th and Thursday March 26th
Please reserve this date on your calendars. Even if you chose not to purchase pictures we ask that you come to picture day. Many students purchase the group photos and we like to have all the dancers in the group in the picture.
Please let myself or Nicole know A.S.A.P. if you have a conflict and we will try to work around it!!
DMX PARENTS GROUP Our fundraising parents are always at work. There will be snacks and water available for the dancers to purchase while at class.
There dancers are currently selling Christmas Wreaths if any one is interested in purchasing one – you can get an order sheet from one of the mothers involved or Nicole or myself. Remember that the money made will go to support your “Big Sister” as she enters the competition season.
There is also a raffle currently taking place on two items left by the vendors at last weekend’s vendor sale.
DANCE MECHANIX GIVES BACK Thank you to all of you who helped out and showed your compassion for the uprooted families in Webster!!
We are currently collecting winter jackets for our coat drive and food items for your Thanksgiving baskets!
Thank you for helping our dancers learn how to make a difference!
RECITAL The Recital is tentatively scheduled for Saturday May 9th at Quinsigamond Community College – there is a MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY MAY 7TH.
COMPETITION DANCERS!! Congratulations to Kristin Tagg, Shannon Costa, Becky Lamprey, Olivia Downer, Courtney Costa, Haley Bjorn and Kelci Clark! They attended the Broadway Rocks Boston workshop in Randolph and did extremely well.
SHAKE RATTLE & ROLL OUR MUSIC AND MOVEMENT PROGRAM GEARED FOR 9 MOS. – 4 YEARS OF AGE IS CURRENTLY RUNNING! But we need your help – please refer your friends and families Wednesdays 10:30am-11:30am $5.00 per drop-in class or purchase a 10 class card for $40.00.
